Community Nutrition Program
KSA is developing a community food program that supplies nutrient-rich seaweed to schools, community kitchens, and women’s groups.
Seaweed is naturally rich in essential minerals such as iodine, calcium, magnesium, iron, and potassium. It also contains fibre and supports digestion and overall wellbeing.
By introducing locally grown seaweed into school meals, we aim to improve children’s mineral intake, reduce micronutrient deficiencies, and help families access a reliable, affordable, and healthy ingredient.
